Nutrition Journal Update- Due May 10th
Now that we are in a new 6-weeks, if you haven't taken the time to start tracking a goal, start now. Let us know what your goal is and how you plan to track this goal throughout the next 6-weeks. If you have been on board and goal tracking the past 6-weeks, take this time to begin thinking about how your body is feeling. Do you feel any different? If it's associated with weight loss, have you lost any yet? If you haven't felt any different, why do you think that is?
Keep in mind, even if you haven't been tracking a goal, 6-weeks is a good start to a lifestyle change!

I have been eating nore healthy. But i could be eating better still. I need to start working out, i have been trying, but still only llike 3 times a week. Overall i need to eat better.
ReplyDeleteEat better in what ways? More good foods or less bad?
DeleteI'm doing beautiful, I'm doing insanity, eating right, I'm going to have abs soon:) ~Eddy Ionita
ReplyDeleteWhat's your secret to staying so dedicated?
DeleteI have been cutting down on sweets for awhile now, but I still have the occasional sweet. I have been working out a little. I'm not trying to lose weight just trying to feel better. I haven't been getting much sleep, so i've been pretty tired. But all in all i'm feeling pretty good.
ReplyDeleteAiming to feel better and be healthy is the most important aspect. If we focus too much on gaining/losing weight we put unecessary stress on ourselves which is also not healthy...
DeleteI need to eat serving sizes instead of 2. And I am wanting to run around my block 1 time a day and play tennis for 3-4 hours 2-3 times a week.

Portion control and servings is the important aspect of nutrition. It's all about balance!
DeleteI have been tracking a goal, but not very well, I suppose. I dont feel much different, but I am getting less headaches which is most likely due to the healthier foods I have eaten versus sweets and junk food. --alison gardner
ReplyDeleteI get migraines when I don't eat, eat too many sweets, or don't drink enough water. It's important to listen to our bodies!
DeleteI have certainly been eating less junkfood and only healthy choices (every now and then i treat myself). But one thing i want to start doing us working out. I do feel good throughout the day when i eat right, but i LOVE the feeling AFTER your done working out. I almost feel like i have more energy!
ReplyDeleteIt's all the natural endorphines your get after working out. And treating yourself everyonce in awhile is important. Food can should be enjoyable.
DeleteI've been doing good with drinking more milk and adding more protein to my diet, but now that my spring sport is over, i need to make sure to keep a consistent level of exercise going until pre season workouts start.
ReplyDeleteYes! Don't stop because then you take time playing catch up. I always tell my team that they need to keep going through the off season otherwise all our summer workouts are just catching them back up to where they were, not improving them.
DeleteHow do you make sure that you are keeping things balanced? And what is balanced?
