Nutritional Goal Update- Due April 5th

After creating your nutritional goal, what have you found to be difficult about sticking to it? How did you do over spring break?

  1. I found it difficult to stay away from the junk food and eat healthier snacks because i am so used to eating all the sugary and sweet foods. I also find a bag of chips easier than a vegetable because when I get myself a snack I have to get my little siblings a snack.

    1. Truthfully it went pretty bad because I went down to Cali and visited my cousins, and when I go down there we always pig out so it wasn't really a healthy week... But I'm working on it now and I'm eating healthier and working out all the time.

  3. It has been exttremely hard to stick to my goal especially over spring break. I felt since it was a holiday that i could just have one day off, but then the habits carried on to the next day, and the next. I've realized that when there is unhealthy choices that i can choose from then i will choose those instead of the healthy choices.

  4. I feel like during spring break I didn't eat healthy at all. I need to start eating more veggies and healthier foods. I will still try to achieve my goal of eating less junk food!

  5. Over spring break, I'd say I ate moderately healthy. I didn't eat too many sweets, but there were definitely a few days where I ate whatever I wanted. It was difficult because having that much freedom in the day to choose what to eat, I opted mostly for the unhealthier choice because it seemed easier.

  6. My nutritional goal is to eat less snack foods. Over spring break I did fairly well and we got fruits for snacks instead of unhealthy snacks.

  7. Over spring break I did really bad with my goal. I went to Washington to visit with family and they had gotten lots of junk food for Easter. I also couldnt drink enough water or eat enough vegetables because I was at someone else's house.

  10. I have noticed how hard it is to get a consistent amount of sleep. I've done better with drinking milk or eating a yogurt, but I still need to incorporate more protein into my diet.

  11. It is not going too well. Its hard to keep my diet going, mainly because my mom doesn't think I need to go on one and that my eating habits are normal. So my family isn't really backing me up with is really hard. I'm eating a little bit healthier but not that much.

  12. I done a little bit better but its hard to eat healthy at friends houses. I'm getting better in the exercise category but i still want to be able to be fit , but i still need to work on being able to do both and also get enough sleep.

  13. Since I have started my goal it has been difficult because there is sometimes not enough time in the day to go on a walk. Also eating healthy is more expensive than my family thought.
